All goods present and promoted at the Vegan Winter Market must be free from animal derived ingredients. Vendors are expected to make every effort possible to prevent cross-contamination from non-vegan items.
The Ontario Heritage Act protects elements of The Great Hall’s exterior and interior. Absolutely no screws, nails, wall anchors, or any penetrating items may be used without written permission by the Vegan Winter Market management.
There is absolutely no drug use or smoking of any kind tolerated on premises or within 9 meters of the building entrances & exits. Disparaging or discriminatory remarks or any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion. The vendor and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times. Conduct of patrons deemed to be disorderly by Vegan Winter Market management shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises.
Lost and Found
Vegan Winter Market management takes no responsibility for personal effects and possessions left on premises during or after any event. The Great Hall does however, maintain a lost and found and will hold recovered items for 30 days. Every attempt will be made to return any recovered item to its rightful owner.
Fire and Safety
All emergency exits and staircases must remain easily accessible with a minimum of 5’ clearance. Under no circumstances can tables, chairs, walls, stages, or installations block exits or staircases. No fire elements such as candles, torches, butane burners, or pyrotechnics may be used without written permission of Vegan Winter Market management.
Please be aware that The Great Hall has limited storage facilities. Arrangements for storage of equipment or supplies before, during, or after your event must be made in advance with Vegan Winter Market management.
The vendor is responsible for removing all equipment and supplies at the end of the event. General clean up will be provided by Vegan Winter Market management.
Loading In & Out
All loading of equipment, decorations, rentals, and catering must be loaded through the West side entrance of The Great Hall on Dovercourt Road. The Great Hall’s front entrance may not be used for loading at any time, unless arranged in advance with Vegan Winter Market management.
The Great Hall is wheelchair accessible with an elevator entrance at the lower hall’s foyer (West side entrance), and is able to go to lower, ground, and second floor levels. Please contact The Great Hall’s management staff at any time to access the elevator. Lower and second levels also have wheelchair accessible washroom facilities.
